How do I get there?

From Anywhere:

You can type in Dallas-Ft. Worth WaterSki and Wakeboard School into Google Maps and print directions from you location. If you use a GPS for directions please print a copy of the directions on the web site to make sure they are close to what your GPS is telling you.

From North Dallas, Allen Plano:

Go North on Hwy 75 North toward McKinney.

In McKinney  take Exit 38 A toward Hwy 5. You will exit 75 to the  right. Stay on Hwy 5 North. You will see the Hospital on your right. The road splits- merge left.  Follow  Hwy 5 North for approximately 2 miles. You will come to a Red light with a cemetery on your right and Quick Trip on your left. That is Industrial. Turn right on Industrial and follow toward the McKinney Airport for 1.2 miles  to Airport Rd.         ( Red Light) Turn left at airport road and follow for 1.9 miles. Airport Road will dead  end into US-380. Take a right on US 380 and head East for 19.8 miles to  FM 36 N

(When you  see the Valero Truck Stop on your right you are almost there. FM 36 north is coming up in about 1 mile on your left) You can only turn left on  FM 36N)

LOOK FOR THE SIGN TO MERIT  Turn left (North) on FM 36 N go 2.2 miles to the lake entrance. The Lake will be on your left (West) side of the road.  You will see a  black pipe fence entrance with  (FLY N SKI RANCH) on the top.

  From DFW Airport: 

Take the North Airport Exit to TX-121 N (turns into Sam Rayburn Tollway for 29.6 miles to McKinney. When you get to the end of the tollway stay straight and you will run into Hwy 5 North.  ( Look up ahead and you will see a big Water Tower, drive to that water tower.) Go approximately 2.5 miles to  Industrial.( Red Light) Turn Right (East) on Industrial to Airport Rd. ( Red Light) Turn left ( North) on Airport Rd. for 1.9 miles to Hwy 380. Go (right) on Hwy 380 for 19.5 miles to FM 36 N.

Flying your private plane: Our turf landing strip is adjacent to the lake. We are listed on the Dallas-Ft. Worth VFRTerminal Area Chart as FLY-N-SKI. Our identifier is 31XS. We are 8 miles due north of Caddo Mills Airport (7F3) and 12 miles northwest of Greenville Majors Field (GVT). Call for permission to land.
